Banana Flambe Ingredients
- 8 ripe bananas
- 100g sugar
- 100ml rum
- 25g butter
This is my take on very easy Creole Banana Flambé recipe also known as Banana Foster. What is Banana Flambé you may think? This delicious dessert consists of caramelized bananas in sugar in rum. Perfectly tastes with icecream. Quick, very high in calories but definitely worth it.
- Melt the butter in a pan, add sugar and bananas.
- Cook until both sides of the bananas are caramelized.
- Add the rum and flame.
- Place the bananas in cups and pour the syrup.
Enjoy this excellent fruit dessert with scoop of ice cream of your choice. I’m sure you will want more soon.
